In 2020, the 25th season of MLS and the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, Sounders FC’s primary kit features wave elements that not only respect the water from the Puget Sound, but also acknowledges the wave in our historical Sounders logos.

Seattle is a place of natural beauty, and we’re doing our best to keep it that way. Last season, we became the first professional sports team in the United States to become carbon neutral.

Seattle is Rave Green. We saw this in November, when nearly 70,000 fans packed into CenturyLink Field to watch us win MLS Cup. It’s been evident since we took MLS by storm in 2009, and has become part of this city’s DNA since 1974.

Seattle’s commitment to this club is eternal. The three stripes on the shoulder are an ode to the league’s 25th season and its growth in the past quarter century. The Cascadia flag on the neckline and Washington insignia on the jock tag represent that we are here to stay, etched in this region’s lore for eternity.
