The Rave Green kick off the 2020 campaign in Concacaf Champions League with two matches against Honduran side C.D. Olympia, but ultimately fell short in a penalty-kick shootout.

The Champs Return

Sounders FC opens the season celebrating the 2019 MLS Cup. It is a party all day long as the club’s championship banner unveils in the rafters and Jordan Morris scores the game-winning goal in stoppage time.

#AtHomeTogether

The pandemic puts a halt on the season, as no matches are played from mid-March through the end of June.

MLS is Back Tournament

The boys are back and compete in the MLS is Back Tournament in Orlando, reaching the first round of the knockout stage before returning to Seattle.

Social Justice

It’s more than a moment. SFC introduces the official club social justice framework.

Ownership Additions

The Rave Green add two families to the ownership group, Tod and Tara Leiweke & Ken Griffey Jr. and his wife, Melissa.

Return to Play

The boys in green resume the MLS regular season, finishing second in the Western Conference.

MLS Cup Playoffs

The Sounders earn a 12th consecutive trip to the MLS Cup Playoffs and reach their fourth MLS Cup Final in five years, but fell to Columbus Crew SC in their quest to repeat as champions.
